The Student Government Association consists of three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.

The Executive Branch

The Executive branch is lead by President Alejandro Munoz. It is made up by President Munoz, Vice-President of Internal Affairs- Ricky Nichols, Vice-President of External Affairs- Davi Kallman (Legislative Assistants Chris Lujan and Angelica Gonzalez), and an Executive Assistant Diana Gloria. This branch is devoted to administering the daily operations of the organization and formally overseeing the Legislative Branch.

The Legislative Branch

The Legislative Branch consists of twenty senators: twelve at-large senators representing the student body and eight collegiate senators. The Senate passes bills and allocates funds to students and/or student organizations for University related projects, events, or travels. Legislative tasks are divided among a large number of committees, which represent the issues affecting student body.

The Judicial Branch

|
The Judicial Branch is the portion of the Student Government that decides cases arising from the student community. This branch is composed of the Supreme Court, Traffic Court, Public Defenders, and the Chief Prosecutor/ Attorney General.
