What is SSSP?

Student Support Services Program (SSSP) is part of the Federal TRIO programs sponsored by the U.S Department of Education to serve 200 students annually. SSSP is designed to assist and encourage students to improve their academic performance and enhance their college experience ultimately to pursue their education regardless of socioeconomic, cultural or ethnic background. SSSP provides services to students throughout their college career up until graduation. The program is open to any freshmen, sophomore or juniors that meet eligibility criteria

How long does it take to join?

The application takes about 5- 10 minutes to complete. The process to get admitted takes about 5-7 business days.

  • Learning communities comprised of credit courses and course based learning assistance

  • Free Testing Supplies (Scantrons & Blue books)
  • Assistance with Financial aid


The workshops are tailored to the specific needs of our SSSP students. For example, you may see academic workshops such as how to do a research paper, financial aid, note taking, just to mention some of them. Moreover, we also have personal development workshops that are designed to expand your overall skills and knowledge. These workshops may consist on time management skills, resume building, job search strategies, or dealing with stress. Our workshops accommodate to what the members need.
