This event will be the first of its kind here at UTEP. It has been
highly prioritized by both the SGA and Dr. Natalicio, as special funds
were appropriated to its development. The goal behind all this is to
reward those students who've become Miner Heroes through their academic
achievements, community service, philanthropic efforts, and the list is
to be continued into several other categories. The selection
process will allow for student nominations, which will be reviewed
later by a committee to pick the winning Miner Heroes.
