Biography:

Catie McCorry-Andalis was born in Falls Church, Virginia but spent most of her years in Northern, California. It is here that she attended Notre Dame de Namur University (formerly College of Notre Dame) and received both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees. Although originally wanting to be a teacher, Catie’s involvement in a variety of leadership experiences as an undergrad propelled her into the field of Student Affairs. Over the years, Catie has worked in a variety of areas within the field including Housing and Residence Life, New Student Orientation, Judicial Affairs, Leadership Programs, International Programs, Women’s Resources and Student Activities. Catie has also worked at several institutions including Marymount College, California State University East Bay, Chapman University, Pepperdine University and Menlo College before arriving at the University of Texas at El Paso.

Catie enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, traveling, and experiencing new restaurants.

Biography:

Michael was born in Tampa, Florida and received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Michael began his Higher Education career as a Hall Director at Middle Tennessee State University where he also received his Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. In addition to his Masters degree, Michael also has graduate training in counseling and training in mediation and conflict resolution. Michael is a member of the Association for Student Judicial Affairs (ASJA), the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), and is a charter member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).

Over the years, Michael has worked at several institutions including the University of Southern Indiana, Texas Tech University, New Mexico State, the University of Wyoming, and Seton Hall University before arriving at the University of Texas at El Paso.

As a member of both the American Hiking Society and the Leave No Trace community, Michael can be found most weekends hiking trails around the El Paso area. When not hiking, Michael is an avid reader, baseball fan, and enjoys cooking, and spending time with friends.

Biography:

Katherine Luna-Quattlebaum has worked in the Dean of Students Office here at UTEP since 2001. She is an El Paso native and graduated from Irvin High School. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree and Honors Award for Outstanding Student at Weatherford College.
