The Peer Career Advisor Program is a collaborative effort between The University Career Center and the academic colleges. Our purpose is to provide career exploration, career advising, and career development assistance to students on a peer-to-peer level. PCA's are trained to present on a variety of career development topics, to assist with student outreach, and to promote the importance of early and continuous career planning and preparation.

Peer Career Advisor’s are here to help you with your job search for internships or professional positions as well as helping you start your résumé. At your college or at the University Career Center, stop by today for the best career resources here at UTEP!

Peer Career Advisor’s (PCA’s) will:

Present to your class or organization! Does your class or organization need a PCA to give a career related workshop? Contact us with the details. We will make arrangements to present to your class or team. We also facilitate workshops all over campus, so come check us out!
Review your résumé! Send us résumé or bring a hard copy to our offices. We will review it and offer some excellent feedback to make it pop!
Give you great tips to ace your interview! We will advise you on how to be the best candidate and shine above others in your upcoming job interview.
Help you with your job search! Whether you’re graduating in the next two semesters or just getting started here at UTEP, we have the hook up for full and part-time, professional, work-study, volunteer, and internship jobs.
