UTEP ID card
This card will allow you to take advantage of several facilities around the campus, including Recreational Sports and the Library. It can also be used to store small sums of money, to buy food and other things around campus. If you are being paid by UTEP, the access will be automatic. If you are not being paid by UTEP, your sponsoring department will have to make arrangements with the facilities you need, such as the Library.
Recreational Sports
The Recreational Sports Department (RSD) provides patrons the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports. The department offers approximately 30 intramural sports, open-recreational playing time, sport clubs and much more.
Student Publications
Student Publications publish the student-produced newspapers The Prospector and El Minero (Spanish-language newspaper). The Prospector comes out twice a week during the academic year and El Minero is published on a monthly basis.
Adelante Child Development Center
The University Child Care Center (UCCC) offers programs tailored to meet the needs of children ages 3 months to 12 years old. The center provides a Developmentally Appropriate Program and concentrates on the whole child.
