The DSSO encourages faculty and staff to refer students to our office. We serve students with both permanent disabilities (including: learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, visual, mobility and hearing impairments, psychological disabilities, and chronic systemic disorders (e.g. lupus, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, etc). and some temporary medical conditions (e.g. a broken arm). If you see a student who would benefit from services due to a disability, or a suspected disability:

• Refer the student to our Office. We are located at Union East Room 106, UTEP
• Please let the student know that they are not obligated to use DSSO services if they contact us.All information is confidential, and services are free of charge
