Dean of Students
The office of the Dean of Students is available to assist students in resolving various programs and concerns. The Dean of Students provides students with the many various resources to aid in your campus experience.
Miner Village
UTEP's Miner Village offers you the opportunity to have a residential college experience. Come live with over 400 fellow students and staff members selected to help you succeed in your educational endeavors.
Recreational Sports
The Recreational Sports Department (RSD) provides patrons the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports. The department offers approximately 30 intramural sports, open-recreational playing time, sport clubs and much more.
Student Development Center
The Student Development Center (SDC) seeks to promote individual student growth and personal achievement through a wide range of programs and services specifically designed to complement and enhance the educational experiences of all students enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso. The Women's Resource Center (WRC) provides opportunity and a location where women's concerns can be voiced.
Student Government Association
The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to represent and serve all students attending UTEP. SGA is the official voice through which students' opinions and concerns are expressed.
Student Publications
Student Publications publish the student-produced newspapers The Prospector and El Minero (Spanish- language newspaper). The Prospector comes out every Wednesday during the academic year and El Minero is published on a monthly basis.
Adelante Child Development Center
The University Child Care Center (UCCC) offers programs tailored to meet the needs of children ages 3 months to 12 years old. The center provides a Developmentally Appropriate Program and concentrates on the whole child.
University Counseling Center
The University Counseling Center (UCC) provides a variety of psychological services to the UTEP's student community. These services include personal, career, and crisis counseling for registered UTEP students.
Career Services
The Department of Career Services is committed to helping UTEP students discover their career interests and assisting them for employment opportunities d uring and after their college years .
Disabled Student Services
The Disabled Student Services Office (DSSO) provided a program of support and advocacy services to students with disability.
