What is IREP?
The International Representatives (IREP) at UTEP conects diverse team of international students with various local groups and organizations. We offer unique learning environment for the exploration of new ideas, values and interests. UTEP's International Representatives Program will help you:
-
Enhance your classroom atmosphere with global insight
-
Expand your group's understanding of the world
-
Animate your event with an international perspective, and
-
Enrich your student’s awareness of international issues.
Whether it is discovering the beauty of Taj Mahal in India, the Australian native animals, the Carnival of Brazil, the world's tallest twin buildings "PETRONAS Twin Towers" in Malaysia, UTEP's International Representatives offer a window to the wold through direct interaction with students from other countries.
We have been invited to give presentations on global topics at Kindergarten class in El Paso, Lincoln Middle School, Parkland High School, UTEP's International Management class, UTEP's French language class etc. And we hope the next invitation would come from YOU.
International Representatives presentations are provided as community service and are free of charge. Presentations can be booked from September through May by calling us at (915) 747-5664
