My.Home
|
Your own schedule, GPA, grades, and even your printing balance are available on the My.Home tab in MyUTEP. You can even view your contact information and verify it is correct so your never miss an important communication form UTEP. Need to make an update? Just go to Goldmine. If there is something you need to change and need assistance with, assistance is available in the Academic Services Building help center. Click on the Home link to return to the MyUTEP Home page.

LiveMail
|
As part of the partnership between UTEP and Microsoft all student mailboxes are on Microsoft's LiveMail system. Our student's have access to all University resources using their @miners.utep.edu account but get the benefits offered by LiveMail. Benefits include 5 GB of message storage, Messenger, SkyDrive, blogging, calendar, and even space to share information about yourself.

WebCT
|
This course management system is used by faculty to share course information, provide assignments and quizzes online, and students can collaborate here too.
If any of your instructors will be using WebCT you will see those classes listed here a week or so before your classes begin, but you should be able to get to the WebCT Home page even if no classes are listed yet. For a Student Troubleshooting guide go to

CourseMine
|
This course management system is used by faculty to share course information, provide assignment details, and to post class information for students to download.
If any of your instructors are using CourseMine you will see those classes listed here a week or so before your classes begin. You should be able to get to the CourseMine Home page even if no classes are listed yet.

Goldmine
|
This is the UTEP student information system where you register for classes, pay tuition, check grades, check progress on your degree plan, and much more. Goldmine is also where you can check to see if your Financial Aid has been posted to your account or if you have any holds (ask your advisor about holds).
As soon as you have been admitted you will have an account in Goldmine. When you click on the link you will be taken to the main menu. Look around and get familiar with it because you will use this a lot! For assistance go to the One Stop Shop in the Academic Services Building.

mspace
|
With mspace web file storage space you will never need a USB drive or a CD to save your files. Just open your own space and you can save files, share files, and backup your important course work. Great for saving files when working in one of UTEP's many student computer labs, then continuing your work at home or in another lab. Store files in the mspace My Documents folder or create new folders to organize your work.

My Status
|
The Check Status / Application Status Tool were created to provide you real-time information on your application status for Financial Aid, Admissions, and Scholarships. Check your status by clicking on the button for the program you are checking. If you are new to UTEP you can access your application status using your name and other personal information. |

Wiki
|
Collaborate on a group project, organize an organization event, or create an online portfolio about yourself with UTEP's own Wiki. Create, edit, and link web pages easily. Wiki.utep.edu can be used to collect data for research projects, sharing documents, and other highly collaborative work.
