The Department of Residence Life is dedicated to enhancing the academic experience of residential students by providing clean and affordable housing that directly relates to the privacy, convenience and technology needs of students on campus. In a strong effort to support success in higher education, the Department of Residence Life offers programs and opportunities for involvement to residents which add to the in-class experience and prepare them to meet lifelong intellectual, ethical and career challenges.
MINER VILLAGE RESPONDS TO THE H1N1 FLU VIRUS - 10/29/09
The UTEP Community has come together with regard to the respiratory infection known as the H1N1 Flu Virus. All UTEP students (including Miner Village residents) have been advised to monitor the www.utep.edu website for updates. Miner Village residents will be educated through passive programming in the residence halls, and are asked to visit the UTEP Student Health Center if they are experiencing symptoms. With the Fall semester beginning on the UTEP campus, residents are asked to remain vigilant, continue healthy practices, and stay in touch with their families.
