UT Service and Civic Participation is part of a national effort by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation to encourage and reward those who give back to their communities through volunteerism.
Participants at each of the System's nine academic campuses, six health institutions and system administration offices track their time in a simple, web-based form. They can then receive recognition at the campus, system and national level when they meet certain milestones.
