The staff of Miner Village are currently pursuing these key initiatives to enhance the on-campus living experience:
- Development of a comprehensive programming model designed to meet the needs of students living on campus. Enhancements include: more programs and activities for the residents, better information about campus happenings, and more activities aimed at increasing the residents academic success.
- Revamping the Miner Village work order system to increase customer service. The new system allows for the tracking of work orders to make sure they are completed in a timely fashion and at a high level of quality.
- Restructuring of the Residence Hall Government to increase the advocacy they currently provide to Miner Village residents. We are also taking measures to make this a more robust and thriving student organization.
- Program assessment continues to be a high priority. The Department of Residence Life has begun a program to survey the residents during the spring semester to determine their level of satisfaction with Miner Village facilities and staff.
