All contact information and documentation received at DSSO is kept in separate confidential files. No information concerning inquiries about a disability or documentation will be released without a “need to know” or student written consent.   A “need to know” (see postsecondary implications) is determined by Director of DSSO.

Is very limited, some common needs may be:

Ø        in order to be prepared to take specific action

Ø        requests for course substitutions

Ø        for legitimate concerns over safety for the student’s health

Ø        special circumstances in the housing village

Ø        grievance procedures

Ø        special financial aid considerations
