Assistive Listening Device - Wednesday, March 16, 2005
Assistive listening device (ALD) consists of a transmitter with a microphone and a receiver with ear piece. The ALD amplifyies voice of professor/speaker for an indiviudal with a hearing loss.

Sign Language or Oral Interpreter - Wednesday, March 16, 2005
A student may be eligible for interpreter services if he/she has a substantial limitation in hearing ability and primary mode of communication is through sign language and/or lip reading, or other conditions where DSSO determines accommodation is reasonable and appropriate.

Auxilliary Aides - Wednesday, March 16, 2005
A student may be eligible to use auxiliary aides if he/she has a substantial limitation in the ability to access spoke and/or text information, use physical dexterity to access computer and/or keyboard and/or campus equipment, or other conditions that DSSO determines to be reasonable and appropriate.
