Dr. Edith Fernandez Director Student Development Center Women's Resource Center efernandez6@utep.edu Dr. Edith Fernández is the Director of the Student Development Center which includes the Women’s Resource Center. She works closely with the Center’s Coordinators to promote individual achievement and interpersonal growth through a wide range of programs and services designed to enhance the educational experiences of all students at the University of Texas at El Paso. Her career in student affairs spans many years to include over ten years of professional experience working with community college and university students in a variety of capacities such as academic counsel, admissions director and coordinator of a global immersion program. Edith’s research interests include college student's development of intercultural competencies and the role cultural immersion experiences play in facilitating growth. Edith received her Ph. D. in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, her Ed. M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a M. PA. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and looks forward to settling into the El Paso community with her family.
	Wendy Kane Assistant Director wakane2@utep.edu I hail from Michigan, I come bearing a wiener dog and an infinite wisdom concerning Greek Life. My 12 children have all grown up and started their own soccer team, named the Wakane Werewolves, they play professionally in the outskirts of Bhutan. I have grown to love the UTEP life and wish to live in El Paso much longer, and learn the language of Spanish.
	Austin Campbell, Greek Life Intern greek@utep.edu Austin Campbell was born and raised in the preponderant city of El Paso, Texas. He is majoring in mathematics with a minor in physics hoping to pursue a career in High School teaching. He actually does not have a love for piggies, but is a large fan of bacon. He is currently the president of the super eminent Fraternity Alpha Kappa Lambda. Boys hope to be like him when they grow up, and men wish to be him. His hobbies include playing soccer, basketball and speed reading the phone book. He tends not to finish anything he star...
