University Career Center Workshops
The University Career Center offers a number of workshops to better prepare UTEP students in their job search. Most workshops are offered throughout the semester and at varying times to accommodate your schedule. If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled workshops, contact our office at 747-5640.
   
Sign-up (RSVP) Instructions for ALL Workshops    

1. Log-in to your JOB MINE account.
2. Click the Career Events option on the top menu.

3. Scroll down to the Career Events box.

4. Click the Career Event Name.

5. Finally, click the RSVP to Event button to register for workshop.

If you need a special accommodation to fully participate in this program/event, please contact our office at 747-5640.

Career Center Orientation This workshop gives you an insight into the services we offer. We also cover résumé preparation, interviewing, co-op program requirements and how you can access our online job and interview system called Job Mine.

Mock Interview Program As easy as 1-2-3 STEP 1 Attend a Mock Interview Orientation, where key concepts and techniques are introduced in a group setting. STEP 2 Attend a group interview coaching session where constructive feedback is given from attending peers and group facilitator within an informal setting. Previous participation in a MIO is required. STEP 3 Participate in a video taped Mock Interview session that may consist of a 1 to 3 member panel.
