Faculty and Advisors

 

The University Career Center encourages you to introduce this site as part of your course curriculum. The goal of this assignment is to enhance students’ understanding of career opportunities available to all UTEP students; to increase students’ early preparation for a career; to improve students’ critical thinking and career decision-making skills; to find employment to help offset personal and college expenses and to connect with student employers, companies, organizations and the Career Center.

The University Career Center offers a wide variety of services for students, we look forward to working with you in assisting our students.
Student Referrals
    
All faculty and staff members are encouraged to refer students to the Career Center for assistance in any of the following areas: finding a job, choosing a major or career, or applying to graduate or professional school.
Curriculum Development
    
Faculty and staff may wish to collaborate with the Career Center staff to integrate career-related topics into classroom curriculum. A Career Center liaison is assigned to each college to assist faculty and staff and to encourage collaborative programs to increase students' career development. 
    We are experienced in conducting class whenever faculty are unavailable or traveling to their annual meeting.  Don't cancel class, simply give us a call in advance at 747-5640 or email us at
