How Can SGA Make a Difference
In My Experience At UTEP?
In order to understand what the students want, the Committee for Campus Quality (CCQ) created a survey to hear what the students want on campus and how the Student Government can be improved. In order for us to help the students we need your input and feedback so please take our survey, we want to know what the students want!!!
We have attached a survey that we would like students to answer. Please give us your thoughts, comments, and feedback and send it to the Student Government Association office

How Can I Get Involved
If I Am A Freshman?
Although Freshman students can not run for an office in the Student Government Association (SGA), there are several positions you can apply for and be a part of, most importantly is to gain experience and political knowledge from the EXCEL program through (SGA). Excel is a program developed and maintained by the Student Government Association. The main purpose of this program is to educate and equip freshmen with the necessary leadership skills to succeed at the University of Texas at El Paso. By using the resources provided by SGA and its constituents, these members will have the opportunity to practice their leadership skills in a variety of events including SGA projects, university organizations and university events. In order to ensure that they are provided with the proper leadership skills that are vital for future leadership positions on campus. The skills these students will gain in this program will prove to be influential in their collegiate experience.
